TURN UP THE SOUND!!!

Tony West and the big JAP are on the line in centre position with Kym McConnell aboard his awesome Suzuki on pole at Gillman. The JAP certainly matched the Suzuki for speed in the first laps but began to feel “funny” after the second causing Tony to back off a bit.
A slow leak in the rear tyre was found to be the culprit.

This practice session shows him trying higher lines and faster corner entry, he seems to be getting the hang of the more powerful bike. The fastest way around on his lower powered single cylinder outfit was to sit right on the inside line and make the others go around, but  the more powerful engine makes it possible to use the higher faster line and really get some speed down the straights. I included this vid cos you can really hear the engine singing hard.
